Based on Rathlin Island, part of the beautiful Antrim Coast, the Island is a haven for wildlife and home to thousands of sea birds including the colourful puffin (May-July). There is a colony of grey and common seals easily viewed all year round. The Island also has six species of orchid and the rare pyramidal bugle, four species of bat, Irish Hare, breeding Longeared Owl, Peregrine Falcon, Buzzard to name but a few.
