Picture of the Month - January 2010

A record amount of snow fell at the beginning of January and this picture was taken during the heavy snowfall on 5th.
The entire beach was covered with snow which made some good pictures, but I like this image of contrast where half an iron man is covered in snow, it is almost as though the figure has been lit by flash and the moving flock of birds in the background lends to the surreal feel of the picture.
