Picture of the Month - November

Article text
We have had some very good days for photography recently, days that were full of drama. This picture was taken on a Saturday afternoon at the beach, a vibrant stormy day, high tide at 15.35 and strong west winds pushing the tide forward. The clouds were moving swiftly across the sky, dark drama pierced by rays of brilliant sunlight highlighting the foaming waters and silhouetting the iron men against the angry sea.

This image is now available in print form as AG337 with the caption:

"Light beams from a ragged sky, clouds torn asunder by the wind. Man's art rises from the waters, provoking an image of primordial beauty, a turbulent scene reminiscent of creation itself."
